This weekend Andy and I got down to business on replacing the floor in the front hallway. Here's the front hallway before:
We started with the goal of pulling up just the linoleum. The tiles underneath had other plans though, so we tore it all out in about 2 hours. The floor afterwards was a step in the right direction.
My fabulous husband spent all day Sunday working hard, with mortar, tile saw and other assorted tools. I did my part by keeping Charlie from "helping". As of Sunday night, all the tile is down. I will update this again once we have grout in and can put the furniture and doors back, but it looks AWESOME already!
